Food poverty in the UK is rising at an alarming rate, with millions of families struggling to afford the weekly shop and uncertain where their next meal will come from.
At Community Grocery, we couldn’t stand by and do nothing. From as little as £5, our members can fill their baskets with fresh, affordable food - bridging the gap between food banks and supermarkets while helping to build stronger, more connected communities.
But it’s about so much more than food. Each grocery also offers free wrap-around support, from cooking and budgeting courses to debt advice, job clubs, and opportunities to explore faith and wellbeing.
We’re looking for a passionate and people-focused manager to lead our new Community Grocery in Telford. You’ll oversee the daily running of the store, support and inspire volunteers, and build strong relationships within the local community. This is more than just a management role - it’s an opportunity to make a real difference, bringing hope, dignity, and practical support to those navigating the challenges of the cost-of-living crisis.
